Integration with Autism in Waldorf Education

The Israeli scientist Yael Guter (Ph.D.) has studied the integration of pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Waldorf schools in Israel. Waldorf education, based on anthroposophy, features multi-sensory learning and regular transitions, which may raise concerns about potential overstimulation and lack of support for ASD students. However, experience has shown that ASD students can successfully integrate into this environment.
