Wood Carving Course for Teachers

Wood carving is a very important part of the craft curriculum in classes five through eight and teachers need to become wood carvers and sculptors to teach it. The five day course aims to give the participants a foundation in woodcarving skills. One session of clay-modelling per day is included, to help develop the understanding and relationship to the world of form and sculpture.
