With the online meetings, the ITEF working group, the «International Teacher Education Forum» (formerly: ITEP, «International Teacher Education Project») aims to stimulate lively discussion and fruitful developments in the training of teachers and educators.
The guidelines «Towards Pedagogical Creativity. Formative Guidelines for Steiner Teacher Education» characterise on 50 pages the training focal points as well as the qualities of trainers. They are the result of a discourse that took place over years within the framework of the ITEP at conferences in different countries on the subject of training teachers for Waldorf/ Steiner schools. The group of authors hopes that the guidelines, updated in 2023, will stimulate a lively discussion and fruitful developments in the training of Waldorf teachers.
All those interested in training are invited to take part in the monthly Zoom conferences (in English, German, Spanish and French) to discuss and comment on individual chapters of the text.
